Your Microsoft 365 profile appears across Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and other apps. Here's how to update your photo, contact info, and account settings.
Updating your profile photo:
Your photo appears in Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and everywhere in Microsoft 365.
1. Go to office.com and sign in
2. Click your initials or photo in the top-right corner
3. Click the camera icon on your current photo (or initials circle)
4. Upload a photo from your computer
5. Crop to your preference and save
The photo updates across all Microsoft 365 apps within a few minutes.
Or in Microsoft Teams:
Click your profile photo/initials in the top-right > click the camera icon > upload a photo.
Updating your profile information:
Your display name, job title, department, and phone number appear in the company directory and when people hover over your name in Teams or Outlook.
Most of this information is set by your Microsoft 365 admin (us). If you need your title, department, or phone number updated in the system, contact us and we'll update it.
To view your current profile:
Teams: click your profile photo > open profile card
Outlook: click your name/photo at the top-right > View account
Changing your display language or time zone:
1. Go to office.com > click your profile > View account
2. Select Settings & Privacy
3. Under Language and Region, set your preferred language, time zone, and date format
These settings affect your Outlook calendar and web apps.
Managing connected accounts and app permissions:
1. Go to myaccount.microsoft.com
2. Under Privacy > My sign-ins — see recent sign-in activity
3. Under Apps & services > Apps I use — see which third-party apps have access to your account, and remove any you don't recognize
Reviewing your sign-in activity:
At myaccount.microsoft.com > Security info > Recent activity. This shows where and when your account was signed in. If you see unfamiliar locations or devices, change your password immediately and contact us.
