What MPS typically includes: remote monitoring agents on printers to track toner levels and meter reads, automatic toner fulfillment (toner arrives before you run out), preventive maintenance at defined intervals, break-fix service (technician dispatched when printers fail), and monthly reporting showing print volumes by device and user. Evaluating MPS providers: compare cost-per-page (all-inclusive — toner, parts, service) across providers.
