Microsoft 365: Using the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA)

The Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) is a free tool from Microsoft that automatically diagnoses and fixes many common Microsoft 365 problems. What SaRA can fix: - Outlook won't start or crashes - Email setup and sync problems - Office activation and licensing errors - Teams sign-in issues - OneDrive sync problems How to download and run SaRA: 1. Go to https://aka.ms/SaRA in your web browser 2. Click Download and open the installer 3. Follow the prompts to accept the license agreement and install 4. Choose the app or scenario that matches your problem (e.g. "Outlook" or "Office Activation") 5. Let SaRA run — it will diagnose the issue and either fix it automatically or tell you exactly what steps to take SaRA is safe, Microsoft-made, and free. It's often the fastest way to resolve common Office issues without needing to call IT. If SaRA can't fix the issue, it will generate a diagnostic report. You can share that report with us and we can use it to resolve the problem quickly. Note: SaRA requires an internet connection and a Windows PC. It is not available on Mac.
