Setting up your work Microsoft 365 email on your phone lets you stay connected on the go. The best way is through the free Microsoft Outlook app. Download the Outlook app: - iPhone/iPad: App Store > search "Microsoft Outlook" > Install - Android: Google Play Store > search "Microsoft Outlook" > Install Setting up your account in the Outlook app: 1. Open the Outlook app 2. Tap Add Account (or if it's your first time, it prompts you automatically) 3. Enter your full work email address (e.g. [email protected]) and tap Continue 4. You'll be directed to the Microsoft 365 sign-in page 5. Enter your password and complete any MFA prompts (approve on Microsoft Authenticator or enter the code sent to your phone) 6. Tap Yes to stay signed in 7. Your inbox will begin syncing — this may take a few minutes for the first load What syncs: - Email, calendar, and contacts all sync automatically - The calendar connects to your Microsoft 365 calendar (same as Outlook on your computer) Troubleshooting: - If the account won't add, make sure your IT admin hasn't restricted mobile device access - If email syncs but calendar doesn't, remove and re-add the account - For "Can't verify server" errors, check that your internet connection is working Note for iPhone users using the built-in Mail app: You can also set up Microsoft 365 in the native iPhone Mail app (Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange). However, the Outlook app offers a better experience and more features. If you have trouble, call us at (269) 261-0269 and we can walk you through it.
